About Us

In a city famous for over-the-top dining and luxury presentations,
Bites of Europe stands out for a completely different reason:
a commitment to preserving the art of slow, soulful cooking.

At Bites of Europe, the philosophy is simple — you don’t need to stack shrimp on steak on lobster covered in caviar to make food unforgettable. Instead, every dish honors traditional European techniques, slow-simmered flavors, and the stories behind them.

Meet the chefs behind the magic:
👨‍🍳 Chef Bulat – Born in Tatarstan, raised between Ukraine and Russia, and armed with a Master’s in Economics — but his real passion has always been the kitchen.

👩‍🍳 Chef Ellen – Born in Ukraine, raised in Russia, and professionally trained in New York City. Her career includes time in the kitchens of The River Café and Gramercy Tavern, two of NYC’s most celebrated restaurants. She later launched a personal chef business focused on clients with special dietary needs, including prominent athletes from the Warriors and Raiders teams. With over 25 years of experience in fine dining, catering, and private chef work, she brings both precision and heart to every plate.

Together, the duo has traveled through 53 countries, collecting authentic recipes and techniques along the way. Their menu reflects that global journey, with comfort classics that have gone viral among locals:

Grenki “Fries” – Dark pumpernickel bread strips fried and coated in garlic, served with aioli.

Chicken Schnitzel, Cabbage Rolls, Beef Stroganoff, and Pierogis – beloved staples made from scratch.

Rotating specials like Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Paprikash with handmade Spätzle, and the crowd- favorite Braised Lamb Shank, slow-cooked in Georgian wine for five hours.

Bites of Europe is a refreshing change of pace in a city of spectacle — proving that flavor, tradition, and authenticity never go out of style.
